About Me
Hi! I’m Carmen, fiction book coach, self-publishing/indie-author coach, indie author, design pro, long-time career professional in communications and marketing.
I love working with writers who want to get their best book out into the world and into the hands of readers. To me, this is about finding the sweet spot where creativity, craft, strategy, and the practicalities of the publishing world all come together.
My coaching approach combines curiosity and industry know-how to surface what really matters to you as the writer and identify priority next steps to create your best book. Then, supporting you as you make it happen.
Services
As a book coach, I help writers shape ambitious ideas into compelling books, from concept through revisions to the final publish-ready manuscript. Although I primarily work with writers creating fantasy and speculative fiction for adults, young adult (YA), middle grade (MG) and children, I’m open to most types of fiction.
As a self-publishing coach, I help writers from all genres get clarity on how to publish their specific book and coach them through the process. This can extend to hands-on support, including training writers on the tools to do it themselves.
